Cool demo of a neat tool.
What did you use to capture the demo in video?
Also I have no idea what a mind map is. Must be a marketing thing yes?
    Thanks for sharing.

I use Screencast-o-matic to capture the video.

A mind map is a way of capturing related ideas. I use to plan content for the different areas I write about, like parenting or technology. It is a way to brainstorming. I have found it very helpful. I can post a completed mind map to give you an idea of what it looks like. Not really a marketing thing, but a tool many people can use.

  3. Thanks for sharing as I was a big user of Mind Map the tool as a key dialoguing and brainstorming tool with my engineering teams at MSFT. I was wondering if you could frame up the problem you are trying to solve (what is the pain that you are experiencing) the leads me to “Creately” as the possible solution or answer to the problem?

I am a very visual person and find it easier for me to understand things when I see them. I used Visio years ago to create site maps and organize ideas, but haven’t been using it for sometime. Recently I found that I was resorting to pen and paper to make my diagrams, like the mind maps I use to generate content ideas. The problem with that is they are stuck in my office. When I am sitting there it is great to be able to see them, but I can’t share them or modify them on the go as inspiration strikes me.

I found Creately when I was looking for infographic tools and realized that I could use it to solve my diagram mobility issue.
