Yesterday I decided to take a photo every hour to show what my day is like. Although yesterday was an atypical day, it was typical in how it was nothing like I planned. I shot all of these photos on my new phone a Motorola Droid Razr M, because my HTC 8x stopped working (more on that next week).

7 am
My buddy Jack climbs in bed with me to watch a little GMA before we both get dressed for the day. |
8 am
The breakfast shift has begun and lunch making is underway. This year I have to make two lunches on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
|
9 am
Waiting at Urgent Care to find out if I have strep throat too. Jim was here at 7:15 am for a strep test. |
10 am
This face has strep throat. On the way to the pharmacy to pick up our medicine.
|
11 am
I finally am eating breakfast. It was a bad idea not to eat before going to Urgent Care. |
12 pm
Trying to get some work done and rest while watch World War Z. The movie was much more entertaining than I thought it would be.
|
1 pm
Lunch for Islay. The world continues like normal for everyone else, even if the parents are sick. |
2 pm
Correcting Jack’s math homework. Wednesday is early release day for Jack, so he gets his homework done early.
|
3 pm
Potty break for Islay and a little backyard play. |
4 pm
Since Mom and Dad are sick the boys get to watch a movie too.
|
5 pm
The kids are outside playing and Islay has decided she is done. Nope, you get to be outside for a while. |
6 pm
Take out pasta dinner. When I am sick carbs sound so good.
|
7 pm
A little football in the front yard. Do you like Will’s throwing technique? |
8 pm
Letter boxes and stories. Will loves working on his letters and letter sounds. Tonight we read a story about a puppy and tried to find the letter p on the page.
|
9 pm
Survivor!
We love this show and are so excited for this season. |
10 pm
Someone is ready for bed.

What does your day look like?
I am linking up with Mama Kat’s Writers Workshop.
Ugh…sorry about the strep! That’s one of the hard things about being a parent–you still have to parent the kids, even if you are sick! I hope you feel better soon!
Wow… what a busy day. Mine looks to be about as busy as yours. I have my oldest who is in Junior Kindergarten and it only for 2 1/2 hours in the morning, my 22 month son, and my 10 month old daughter. I would say my day is just as busy as yours. So sorry to hear that you guys are sick as well. Being busy with kids is one thing but busy with kids and sick is another. I hope you guys feel better soon.
Hope you feel better soon!
Strep is awful!! I can’t believe you were still so productive with that painful throat. I would have crawled back in to bed for sure!
